That is, nihilism is often characterized by an attitude of indifference (“life is meaningless”), where your ‘zine (a personal outlet for your ideas) is full of hate and the encouragement of terrorism, and so arises a paradox where you appear to be imposing indifference. If all values are meaningless, and everything is emptiness anyhow, why bother with upheaval? Any additional commentary is appreciated as well. Okay – I see where this is going son. More terrorism makes big brother here clamp down on people I’m going with this. Nihilism, like Satanism, means something different to everybody. What the fuck is WMS based on? I get more of that question these days, as persons finally realize that it does MATTER what is behind the intent of either the blackened/death/porngore vomit music or "JournaJist" who is performing/writing such material.. so again, from the upcoming METALLIC WARLUST interview in 2003, here is some insight, ya nosy bastards...if you want the entire interview, and more shit then just me babbling, I suggest you seek it out at his site... 1)Greetings Mr. Blaash. Tell us about your latest issue of Wheresmyskin 'zine, how to get it, etc. Yours is a zine with an extremely unique attitude, that is to say with certain radical ideals that permeate much of the Black Metal scene, but with a definite Texan self-mutilator, alcoholic wise-cracker, with a morbid sense of humour and a thing for pigtails. What contributes to this identity, and how has it developed over the years and issues. With your radical sentiments, have you made any contradictions or remarks of any kind that, in retrospect, bother you at all (i.e. Varg Vikernes now calls Black Metal nigger music)? Lets start, with as you say, the basics of WMS… Issue H8TE is a continuation of my utter vomit towards those of the paths that espouse any form of “spiritual goodness” and “healing” that is associated with more commonly known facades such as xtianity, katholicism and the such. I made some layout changes, possibly that I will not continue in issue h8te for 9… for one, it was said that most of issue 7 “lost” some of its utility (in causing disgust, humour, perversion, etc) in that a lot of the pix/words/layout was a bit too overbearing, in that, in my cheapness I just used a Xerox machine and some things turned to shit. Thus, issue h8te, has a ‘bigger’ layout if you will, and I’ve tried to keep merging too many piXXXtures with words and such, as to encourage more bowel movements.. however, looking back, it seems that I miss a bit of my identity, by not scribbling within the open white spaces that I left initially to allow a little more legibility. HATRED is what started issue 1, and continues to fuel it to as much as I continue to produce jism to aim at my lovely woman’s pigtailed face. Issue 1 announced radical hatred for of course the given xtians etc, but also the left fucking wing/hippie motherfuckers who worship the forest and other white/wiccan/feel good about life bitchass fuckheads. It is important to note that I have tried to base WMS on the realities of death as they are applied to our extreme music scene.. what does that mean in English ? well, I try to ask and find out what are the ideals and lifestyles behind the bands I interview (more so now then in the early issues, which were less, well serious I suppose) and hope to fuck that if you sing about death, horror, hatred, gang nun rape, suicide etc, that you have an understanding and at least appreciation for it. MUTILATION. is also necessary; more so now then in previous issues…this is because of the intense violence that some black metal has brought me, starting roughly 8 or is it 9 years ago or more. Shit. I don’t remember. Black metal = violence to me, and since I haven’t done my mandatory school shooting spree/serial killing, it seems I can only take the violence out on my ‘gift’ flesh. So choppin’ it is, and it becomes background for WMS interviews and commentary. PERVERSION. I have a very deviant mind, and I believe almost everybody in extreme metal does also. I realize this, and believe it is a solid framework to put the cuntent of WMS into. I’m just like every other Prevert out there who likes to see cute little girls getting roughly sodomized and given the ole asstomouth treatment while wearin’ school uniforms. I don’t think its really that original these days, but I include to benefit my readers hehe. When I go to Europe I make it a point to say sure, fuck yeah, theres cows sitting across the yard, a big ole pick up truck with Dixie on it, and 12 guage shotgun on my lap while I sip cornwhiskey (the only real truth being the last one, and its bourbon).. Okay Fuckheads, so many of you bastards out there have been harrassing me about the hypocrisy of saying you hate everything, when you still like something; so, for you persons of a younger age, and less experience, I put forth the following: this was taken from an upcoming interview in METALLIC WARLUST zine .. 5) Again this seems like a gay question you’d get from high school gossip folk, but I believe it holds some value given the circumstances: as a self-mutilating alcoholic maniac who genuinely revels in others pain and death, and the end of the world and all, it seems perhaps you have found a match in Ms. Jenoside. Please give all comments you may on the paradox of such a union (with consideration to the union of man and woman being fundamentally for the purpose of the propagation of the species). (Do think this through and give a thorough answer, as I believe it necessitates one.) BLAASH: I may go out of my way to find you on the way out of the bank young man… heh. Concerning Mrs. JenOside – indeed. I am rather fond of her, as she espouses some of my ideals and eagerly encourages my perversities (rare in a woman). She also handles a glock well. As I’ve stated, since I am currently damned with being human, and have not killed enough brain cells – of course I will have care greatly for my own; as wolves in a pack, we hate all of YOU. And care only for ourselves and our own. This applies directly to Mrs. JenOside, and others that bear my last name (parents, siblings etc); it just so happens by blood. Yes, I’ve thought about this before, not so much on the existential level or talking about it on chatrooms and such, but that’s how I rationalize it. The rationale being that okay, fine, I hate everything, and we all have to fucking die in a fireball, but I may as well be a bit picky, and keep my own pack alive if possible/feasible. Propagation eh? Well, I’ll stick to good ole fashioned assfucking and there’ll be no problems eh? I believe that is a bit hard for me to fight on eh.. But there is to be an order; and, given the choice I will eagerly start with Africa first and then the middle east, and then we’re going to start getting personal it seems Heh.
